What type of energy do you want your solar power system to generate?

Solar power systems come in two types: photovoltaic (PV) systems and solar thermal energy (STE) systems. PV systems generate electricity and thermal systems generate heat. Find out more about the difference between PV and solar thermal.

Electrical energy

​Powers your appliances, lights, etc. More versatile but less efficient than a solar thermal system.​

Thermal energy

Heats your domestic water, house, pool, etc. Both spatially and monetarily more efficient then a PV system, but heat has less uses than electricity.
